Cammarata lies on the East slope of the mountain Monte Cammarata. The ruins of a castle and the church Santa Maria are worth seeing, indeed. Also a trip to the closely located mountain is highly recommended. A road will lead you up to an observation platform, from where you have a wonderful view over the countryside.
